Advantages: Feels great - easy to use.

Disadvantages: None

What more could you ask for ! A camera that offers 1.3 million pixel picture quality with a 3 x optical and a 2 x digital zoom lens. The camera has stylish looks, has a weighty "quality" feel to it, and comes complete with the Kodak Picture Easy Software which is dead easy to install on your PC.

We purchased ours a little over a year ago for £499, and we can't fault it. The camera came with a choice of USB or Com Port connection, and the quality of the prints is breath-taking. It takes Compact Flash memory cards, and is real easy to use. Just insert a re-usable Flash Card (which acts as your film) into the camera and start clicking away. If you take a picture you don't like, then simply select delete on the camera and take another in it's place. When the card is full, down-load the pictures to your PC (connect PC to camera, cable supplied), re-insert the card into the camera and off you go again ! It really is that simple.

The picture preview window is clear, and you can adjust the brightness for inside/outside use. It has a macro facility, a timed delay and the zoom is just pure quality.

Once you have your pictures on the PC, you can use the package that comes with the camera (Adobe) to apply special effects to your pictures. These are endless - from changing a colour print to black and white, to stretching, bending, swirling, softening, sharpening etc etc etc.

To get the best out of the Camera print-wise, I would suggest you use photographic quality paper. Don't get too carried away with inks though, we use standard coloured inks and these look great - I don't see the need for Photographic cartridges.

The quality is so good that we have framed some A4 sized prints of our kids and they look perfect.

Buy it ! - I've seen it in the shops for a little over £300 now, a bargain.
Let me know what you think!

I'd love one of these but out of my price range at the mo, a really useful opinion - it's a shame that so many people read it without actually rating it though.
