I bought the DC240 a couple of years ago now and I can highly recommend this type of camera. When the time comes to buy a new digital camera, I will be buying another Kodak as I have been so impressed with this one. At the time (1999), the camera was a reasonable spec - 1280x1024 resolution digital camera with a 8mb Compactflash card ... Read the complete review

This is the first digital camera I have ever owned, but have owned a number of cameras in the past including an SLR. We bought it because we wanted to have a reliable camera to make sure that we wouldn't miss our baby's firsts by taking bad pictures. I have found it extremely easy to use and it offers a fail safe way to ensure ... Read the complete review

I have never been that keen on Photography but when I bought my computer I immediatly wanted to do graphic work and it seemed natural to buy a digital camera. After quite a lot of research mainly concerned with price I decided to buy the Kodak DC240 and was pleased with it right from the start. It is one of the most user friendly cameras on ... What more could you ask for ! A camera that offers 1.3 million pixel picture quality with a 3 x optical and a 2 x digital zoom lens. The camera has stylish looks, has a weighty "quality" feel to it, and comes complete with the Kodak Picture Easy Software which is dead easy to install on your PC. We purchased ours a little over a ... Read the complete review

Because I own the Kodak DC240 this review has to be about that model but it is identical to the DC280 except for one feature. The DC280 has an ISO setting to enable the user to take pictures in relatively dark places without using flash whereas the DC240 does not. Being automatic cameras it is the shutter speed that varies depending on the light ... Read the complete review

Hubby and I bought our digital camera about 18 months ago. We checked out a few different packages, and decided on the Kodak because of the ease of use. It definitely isn't one of the prettiest cameras on the market, but what it lacks in style in makes up for in performance. Ease of use is amazing. Simply press the button and take ... I have just purchased this camera for a car-dealer client, so that he can place car photos on his web site. I had told him that for his purposes, these new sub £100 units would suffice, but if he bought a semi-decent one, he could make better use of it. It took quite a while to find out detailed information about cameras in his price ... Read the complete review

What a fantastic camera. This was our second digital camera, our first being one of those standard things that come with a new computer package. It was fine but didnt take many pics and the quality left a bit to be desired. So we decided to invest in something cool... knowing not a great deal about digital cameras ... Read the complete review

I'd been interested in purchasing a digital camera ever since they appeared on the market three or four years ago, however, two factors held me back, firstly the exhorbitant prices, and secondly the picture quality. Im glad to say that over the last year or so, both of these aspects have come forward in leaps and bounds, so I took the ... Read the complete review
