I bought this web-cam as an extra with the PC. It was meant to be used as a camera more so than a web-cam even though the resolution on it wasn't great. At the time digital cameras were more expensive and I figured this would be something to experiment with. When it arrived, I was a bit disappointed with it. It is a little bulky but looks good for a web cam. It makes an irritating beep noise when you use a function, but you can turn the sound off. It does come with a programme which will let you use it as a web cam, create a web album, broadcast live video and also comes with a motion detector.
