Advantages: cheap and compatible with a lot of programs

Disadvantages: poor picture quality and coulour detail

the price reflects the quality of this webcam... very low.

however it is perfect for people who only use it every now and then and dont want to spend money on something flash. however i enjoy using skype and for that it is abismal.

the picture quality is not very good and for its price there are a few other webcams on the market that come a little bit better than these.

there are not many settings available for this webcam and it can take a while to connect. i was exremely disapointed with the colour quality and sharpness of the video images and also the still images were not much better.

my advice would be to look for one that is more expensive if you video call people because you can get a wider range of settings and also you will notice the massive difference in the picture and colour detail and quality. and you will also get very good headset.microphone with many of the higher priced products.

however for the basics this webcam is a very good buy and i would definately recommend it as it is compatible with many things.

also tends to freeze quite often where as more expensive models do not

Summary: good if you want something cheap for the odd occasion..
