I don't think anyone would be interested in taking grainy pictures with webcam using that software. so 0 marks for the supplied webcam software.
Another bad thing is the clip. My £4 generic webcam had nice rubber clip, which will help the webcam to sit nicely on my laptop. But clip supplied with quickcam is very ancient and useless. Webcam keeps falling with slightest of movement on the laptop. So it is not suitable for laptops.

When my generic webcam started freezing on Yahoo and Skype, I bought this from local currys store for around £12. I thought that standard branded webcam will work fine with yahoo and skype. But it had similar problems with Yahoo. So, looks like Yahoo Messenger is not very good. So now I stopped using yahoo and use Skype instead. The camera itself is not that bad. It is gray/black 2-tone color, with built-in microphone. It also came with mono-headphone which I never used. The microphone quality is not very great, so I use dedicated mic for Skype.
