I bought my Messenger Quick cam almost a year ago and I have to say it's the best web cam I have ever come across. The web cam is USB connected and has a built in microphone. You can purchase one for about £15 now and not only are they easy to install but when used with MSN messenger the quality is outstanding.

I have cable internet installed at home and I communicate with my friends and family overseas who also use broadband and the feed is very smooth (with the occassional freeze usually caused by network congestion), compared to the quality I receive from my friend's web cams, the Messenger Quick cam is incredibly clear, I constantly receive praise on how good the quality is compared to theirs.

The software that comes with the web cam is easy to install and easy to use, but I haven't had any major need to use it as once the driver is installed it automatically works with MSN Messenger and Netmeeting. It also adjusts the camera's lighting automatically.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who was looking into buying a web cam specifically for messenging programs.
