Advantages: Great picture quality, Versatile

Ever since I purchased this camera, almost everyone who I video chat with has commented on the great broadcast quality this camera has. I find it better than the creative labs' webcam which I used before. I use this camera mainly with Skype to chat with my long distance friends and family and I haven't had any problems, but the video quality is better when using Yahoo messenger. The software automatically detects the different messengers installed on your computer and you can directly launch the desired messenger through the software.

The moment you hold this camera, you can tell that it is not a cheaply made product. The build is sturdy and the stand is pretty versatile (it can be used for many different sizes of desktop monitors and laptops).
Next, the logitech software is pretty good. I would compare it to a stripped down version of Apple's photobooth, there are some cool effects with the software including animation such as making yourself look like a cartoon.

The mic quality is pretty good. Though I prefer using the mic attached to my headset. I am using this mic with a Windows XP machine so I can't comment on its compatibility with Vista and Mac.
If you are looking for excellent broadcast quality during video chatting and you own an XP machine, I would definitely recommend this product.
