For a computer that doesn't have a built in web cam or microphone, this high definition gadget will sort you out. It's of great quality and is a web cam and microphone all in one - you'll still need some kind of speakers or headset to hear people over Skype for example. You can get the web cam in a few different colours such as red, blue, pink and green. I went for the blue one and it looks pretty cool. This is a really great webcam. Although it looks a bit gimmicky it actually works better than most standard cameras I've tried. The bendy neck is such a handy tool; it's amazing when you don't have to fiddle around positioning a static casing and can have the freedom to film what you want, from any position (and it doesn't flop about once you get it in position!) The picture is a really good, clear quality and it's very easy to install. HueHD.com has an extensive online support page for any questions. I couldn't get the snapshot button going at first but was really easy once I knew how and it works well with no time-delay. the camera's flexibility means it works well as animation camera and is a much cheaper alternative. Overall I couldn't ask for more value for money and my colour (blue) is really vibrant and stylish.

My computer did not come with an in built microphone or webcam so I decided to buy my own. I wanted a good quality one, which worked with my Mac for use with Skype. This webcam was a fantastic buy and works really well. It works with both PCs and Macs so is universally compatible. Available in a variety of colours including red, black, blue, green and pink, I decided to buy the red one. The variable colour contrasts nicely with the shiny black colour on the rest of the product.
