Advantages: the skills you can learn

Disadvantages: the time it takes, sometimes takes ages to preview animations etc

Having used this software for over 4 months on a project at University I have mixed feelings about Adobe Flash CS3 Professional.

Sometimes I think this is a fantastic program, and other times it reduces me to tears. I do have instruction and teaching to help me understand this program, and I have also bought a few books. The animations that I have made using this program I really love.

The negative about this software is that you need a fast computer for it to work at a high standard, many frustrating minutes can be spent waiting for the animations to load! I realised that if you are just working on a basic computer you really need a patience of a saint!

I feel that this software has a few glitches. I feel that sometimes it can be very temperamental. With time I have learnt to love this software. I do not reccomend this software to be used if you plan to do 'stop motion' animation with photographs - for some reason it doesn't work its best. The best thing to use with this program is adobe illustrator files.

Summary: I love this program, but would love to find something better!
