i am still relatively new to this product.
it is supplied on all of the computers at our arts college, and if we want to get into web design, it's the only way forward.

like all programs, for the pc beginner, it looks extremely complex, and doing even the simplest of things seems impossible.

but after time, you slowly start to get to grips with some aspects of the program, and can make a page that you can put on the net.

this can slowly be updated, as you learn new tricks, and more pages can be made more quickly as you learn.

there is a very interesting feature which lets you manipulate timelines. this means that you can make things move around the page without knowing a line of html, plus more.

if you are interested in working on the net, then this program will do everything you need, with room for expansion.

however, it is also recommended that you lean some very basic html so you can edit links etc from time to time without opening the program. dreamweaver has a source code window which helps you learn this. as you create you page, a window containing the source code continually changes with your editing.
