I have been using dreamweaver for about 3 months now. Its great for making web sites on the quick, and has so many features at your disposal, Including, streamline intergration with fireworks, dhtml effects, javascript debuger, a choice of saving your script as java, javascript, VBsript or html. Also you can get houndreds of add ons from macromedia home site. You can check what browsers your site will be able to be viewed in. Most of the time unfortunately only IE 4+, netscape always brings up errors. All this helps you to be able to create stunning web pages. The down sides are this, it costs quite alot, especially if your only using it for home use, is a bit tricky to get strated using the program, its best to have a bit of experiance with html. But the biggest downside for me anyway is that it dowsnt support ASP, or PHP. If you open these up in it, dreamweaver likes to change the code making the code useless. But i think that all in all, its worth your hard cash. Go out and buy it. NOW!
