      This toothpaste tastes horrible

Few months ago I made with my girlfriend some online shopping when we ordered some product from Weleda online store. We both like their products because they are completely natural and do not cause irritation on the skin.

      A little about the brand:
Weleda is a multinational company that produces beauty products based on anthroposophic principles. Weleda uses entirely natural ingredients. None of their ingredients or products are tested on animals. They use a green energy supplier and educate their farmers and their communities about ecological friendly production. The founding of Weleda AG is dated back to year 1921. The company takes its name from the German form of the name of Bructeri völva Veleda.

My experience with this Weleda Salt Toothpaste:
We bought this toothpaste for £4.50 and received it well packaged in about four days. The toothpaste comes in a 75 ml blue/white tube (recyclable) with a white lid. We initially bought this product because we have been curious how tastes a "salty" toothpaste. According to the description the toothpaste should deliver in your mouth a menthol freshness. Well, we did not experience that. I was feeling like I would put a spoon of salt in my mouth. The taste is really terrible. The toothpaste does not foam either - but I do not take this negative because lack of foam just means lack of chemical product (which is good).
I think this toothpaste is a good idea if it would not taste so horrible.
I would not recommend this product due to its taste.

Natural sodium bicarbonate helps neutralise harmful plaque acids. / It also stimulates salivation to promote self-cleansing and reduce the formation of tartar. Salt Toothpaste was originally developed in consultation with doctors and dentists. The result is a valuable dental preparation made from only natural substances. Its effective cleansing action is immediately obvious, as is its long lasting freshness / It also has a very beneficial action on both teeth and gums / Due to the osmotic action of the concentrated salt solutions the saliva flow is increased, assisting in the washing away of decay-producing residues. The increased saliva flow produces a self-cleansing action which hinders the formation of tartar, the forerunner of plaque and the subsequent susceptibility to caries. Salt Toothpaste is slightly alkaline and neutralises caries-promoting acids, particularly after meals / Half an hour after cleansing the teeth the normal pH is restored. The slightly salty taste is complemented by a mixture of essential oils for long lasting freshness. Soothing Myrhh and Krameria, together with horse chestnut bark extract and aesculin for its astringent, toning action, are included for gum health.
