      Top end saxophone

This was my first Tenor sax i bought and that was 13 years ago. I have never and would never consider another make or model. I tried a yanigasawa that all my friends seemed to love and they sounded tinny, nothing compares to the rich mellow sound that this sax makes. I even tried the Mark II and whilst it was good, this just blew it out of the water. The selmer tenor sax works well with a selmer metal mouthpiece if you want a more tinny jazzy sound, and i would recommend going for a matrial ligature, not a metal one, it gives a richer tone. The engraving on the bell is breathtaking, and just adds to the beauty of the instrument. This got me through university and i have played it in many different situations and was impressed at the instuments flexibility and stamina. I have only needed to get this serviced once. Amazing horn.
