      Great for professional players

This is a lovely piccolo to own as I do.
Its got a body made of grenadilla, and you can either choose the headjoing to be silver or made of the same, withough a mouthpiece. I have the silver mouthpiece as I find when switching between flute and picc, the mouthpiece needs to be similar to keep the high level of sound coming.
Its a great piccolo particularly for orchestral playing, as it has such a loud clear sound in the top register, and this is when you really need it to play above the orchestra. I was complimented on this piccolo for the last concert that I used it in. I would recommend it to players who will use it regularly, as it is a professional standard piccolo, and is very expensive. For beginners Yamaha do an excellent version just made of plastic. The tone isnt as nice but its only £400 and will take you quite far in your orchestral playing.
