I managed to win one of these in a University raffle, and it's been fantastic! First things first, it's designed as a wine cooler, so don't go thinking this will supplement/replace your regular fridge, probably not the best idea to start putting your milk, meat and veg in there. That said, with the coldness (is that even a word?) turned up, it'll happily keep my beer, soft drinks and maybe a couple of chocolate based snacks at the perfect temperature. It took some fiddling with the dials, but I got it at just the right temperature for my beer. It's pretty well built, I've had mine for a while now, and it doesn't feel like the door may fall off or anything, so top marks there. The only slight issue here is the noise. It's not deafening by any means, but it may become a tad irritating for some. Living in halls, I keep mine in my room, right near the TV for easy access to beers when having a session on the PS3 with the lads. It makes a slight hum for around 10 minutes every hour or so, at a similar volume to a computer fan in normal conditions. I have one of those tiny mini fridges which can be used in the house or in the car, and the noise of that actually drowns out my wine cooler. This would be ideal, not only for it's intended use as a wine fridge, but as a beer fridge in a lad's den. It'll fit plenty of bottles in there, and is strong enough to support a TV on top. Not sure if I'd pay the full RRP for it, but as I won it in a raffle, I cannot complain one bit!
