Advantages: sweet, refreshing, cheap
Disadvantages: the name is a bit confusing
When it comes to wine my favourite by far is red wine, however in the summer months I crave a nice cold glass of something to drink and red wine just isnt refreshing in the slightest - so I tend to opt for rose rather than white.
It normally costs anything between £4 and £7 depending on where you buy it from, supermarkets tend to be cheapest whereas you can end up paying a bit more from smaller, local shops. Blossom Hill can also often be found on offers such as 2 for £8 or 3 for £12, so look out for those.
The wine itself is a nice rich light pink colour and smells absolutely delicious as you pour it out the bottle, it has a very sweet and light smell to it that gets my mouth watering. The taste is just like the smell, very sweet and refreshing and fruity, which is what I like my rose to be like. Its very easy to drink as it is so sweet and fruity, but it is 10%ABV so be careful when your drinking it!
Overall I would definitely recommend this wine if you like it to be fruity and refreshing rather than crisp and dry. Its lovely to drink during the summer and is best served ice cold in my opinion - i sometimes like to drink it with a splash of lemonade, lots of ice and sliced fruit if I feel like making the extra efford, but its deliciously refreshing on its own.
Summary: a lovely sweet, fruity and refreshing summer wine
