Ernest and Julio Gallo White Grenache is a real tasty and affordable wine that is enjoyable on its own, or with food. It is a light drink and is brilliant to enjoy in the summer.

Over the years I have not been the biggest fan of wine and gone for the classic male drink of beer. However through the wife over the last seven years I have been dragged into the wine arena. I then grew to enjoy a crisp white or a tasty red but continue to go nowhere near the Rose. Then when at the in-laws this wine as produced and I was pleasantly surprised!

What I like about the wine is that it has a really distinctive taste about it, but still manages to be light and refreshing. It has a pleasant after taste but does not linger on the palette. I personally really enjoy drinking it with sea food, but also like it with chicken as well.

Whilst it may not be a fine wine that experts will rave about it, for the average consumer it is a good choice that due to its light taste and non-obtrusive manner can go with lots of different food. I am still not convinced by most other Roses, but I do enjoy this one!
