This full bodied, dry style of Riesling is versatile and suited to a wide variety of foods. It has classic Marlborough Riesling characters of citrus, peach and honey and a long fresh finish. Enjoy chilled as an aperitif or pair with seafood dishes. 100% Riesling. The individual vineyard parcels were hand harvested and whole bunch pressed. The juice was settled bright and fermented cool to capture the purity of the fruit. A small amount of residual sugar was retained after the fermentation to provide balance and richness to the finished wine. Post ferment, the wine was blended with the fermentation lees retained and stirred regularly until bottling in December 2010.
