Freixenet, pronounced 'fresh-eh-net' is one of the leading producer's of cava, Spanish sparkling wine primarily from the Catalan region. I tried Freixenet Cordon Negro for the first time about a year ago and was very pleasantly surprised! This is a very delicate, fruity and fresh drink which I now use for every special occasion and sometimes just for the hell of it!! If you look at the other cava's around the same price i think it really stands out as better quality, Freixenet have kept the wine consistent and top quality.
