Introduction:

I have drank Lambrini on many occasions, it is sold in almost every supermarket and corner shop of britain! I have never been the biggest fan of lambrini but it is the perfect party/BBQ drink. Its affordable. I always believed Lambrini to be a wine, but recently discovered that it is actually a Perry. Perry is similar to wine though. Lambrini also comes in a cherry flavour which is also widely available. I recently purchased a bottle of Lambrini to take to a friends house for a get together. It is something different than wine or beer and is bubbly which usually entices good times!

Price/Bottle:

I recently purchased a 750ml bottle of this for only £1.85 at tesco. Its cheap which makes it more appealing than buying a bottle of wine. It is the perfect party drink if you are on a budget and do not fancy getting a bottle of sparkling wine or champagne! The bottle is now much taller and has a slightly different design. The front of the bottle also tells you that it is "slightly sparkling perry". You can also see that the percentage of alcohol is 7.5%.

What is it like?:

Lambrini is a strange drink which is a cross of flavours. It is very sparkling, on the bottle is says it is only slightly sparkling. It is extremely bubbly and everytime I drink it I feel very gassy! I prefer to have a very small amount of this. Lambrini is a relatively low alcohol content drink which means it will not get you drunk easily and if you drink too much you will feel sick and gassy, which is never a good thing. The taste is not the nicest you will ever drink, it is slightly tangy and a little bit fruity. I have never really enjoyed the taste of Lambrini original, I much prefer the more fruity taste of the Cherry version. I would recommend that you give this a try because it is very affordable and you may enjoy the taste. Many girls I know enjoy this drink, I believe it to be more of a girly drink. But guys can also enjoy this too.

Overall:

I am not a huge fan of lambrini but I know many people love it. Its a drink which is worth trying to see if you like it or not. I am going to give this drink a 3 star rating. It is enjoyable in small doses but too much makes you feel very gassy! Thanks for reading my review :)
