"Colour: Clean and brilliant. Intense colour, of a very dark red with grenadine tones. Aroma: Intense, full of fruit (grape, plum, cherry) with hints of violet, rock-rose and an elegant touch of wood. Palate: Smooth attack and very full in the mouth. Red fruits and dark chocolate are prominent in its complex aroma. This wine is structured but with fine tannins and has a good balance. After taste: Long and persistent. Food Matching: Pairs very well with game and red meat dishes, in particular with a 'posta mirandesa' (traditional veal cut) and roast beef. It also goes well with 'bacalhau' dishes and strong cheeses. It should be opened an hour before serving and preferably decanted. Should be drunk at a temperature of between 16® and 18®C. Grape: Touriga Nacional 80%, Touriga Franca 15%, Tinta Barroca 5%."
