Edimax EW-7728In ... review below me is totally wrong. This is a great network adapter. I m just not sure about using it on Window s Vista X64 though. Whenever this is installed anywhere in my house I always get 90-100% connection quality. It connects into a standard PCI socket, which are usually located above or below the AGP/PCI-E slots. It comes with 3 aerials which can be attached to the rear of it. I don t particularly know why there s 3. But they seem to keep the connection quality. The drivers are easy to access on both the site and during the card installation from the supplied CD. Although I would recommend you update to the latest drivers straight away instead of using the in... Read the full review: A decent network card for connecting wirelessly to the internet. by OCEC2 |

Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter ... wanted to get onto xbox live in order to play online. I found out that unfortunately unlike the ps3 the xbox does not have a built in wireless adaptor, so I went out to game to buy one. It cost me around £50 which is really expensive for something I feel should already be included in the xbox. On top of this you will need to buy a xbox live subscription which can be bough in 3 month or 12 month instalments. The 12 month costs around £34.99 which again is quite expensive considering that ps3 provide it for free. The wireless adaptor allows for connection anywhere in my house and can travel through walls etc. I have mine xbox upstairs and the internet router downstairs ... Belkin Wireless G Desktop Card F5D7000 ... I bought this item with my previous PC when wireless networking was relatively new. I also knew very little about the technology at the time but as I was moving my PC into my newly built study, I had 2 choices, either go wireless or pay Virgin £75 to move my wired connection. As someone who doesn t like spending money at the best of times, I decided to take the plunge and go wireless. This product cost me £25 when I bought it. I was interested in the Belkin wireless router, so I played safe and used the same manufacturer for both items that would allow the router and my PC talk to each other. I now know that this shouldn t make any difference as all wire... Read the full review: Wireless connectivity for your desktop PC by Craggybuk |
