Upon opening the box there were a few bundled items to help get you all set up with your internet connection. These ...

Deru Linksys Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway WAG160N
... Linksys WAG160N N300 is an ADSL2+ wireless modem router, meaning it has a a modem built in. It is for use with BT Internet connections rather than for use with a Cable broadband connection (i.e. Virgin) although a Cable version is also available. It s an ADSL2 router, which means it supports the newer ADSL standard, which could mean faster transfer speeds although this really depends on your line quality, distance from Exchange, service with ISP, etc. The router currently costs £74.99 from PC World but a bit less at £59.99 on their website. I bought mine about 8 months ago on Ebuyer for around £55. IN THE BOX You receive two ADSL filters, RJ11 cable, user manual, ma...

andrew_dav Belkin 54g Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway Router
... moved back into a cable area recently so with that needed a purchase for a cable router. On a midnight jaunt through the supermarket I picked this one up for about £30 and took it home to play with. And you can take control of the network, assigning individual addresses to it in order to make more efficient use of your router. For example, I have a server on mine which takes care of all ...

mayh002 USRobotics 802.11g 54 Mbps USB Adapter
... bought this USB adapter a while back and it worked as expected. However, I found it a nuisanc having a dongle sticking out my laptop and it looked a bit flimsy so I decided to buy a wifi card. The wifi card lasted me one year and for no reason it stopped working so I went back to the USB adapter and so far it still hasnt let me down. I have tried two wifi cards and both seem to give up after a year or 18 months. This USB adapter seems to be very resilliant to rough treatment and hasnt let me down so far. The installation process is simple and I was on the internet within 2 minutes. The only downside is that the software looks quite coplicated at first glance as they ...
