Belkin Wireless G Universal Range Extender/Access Point:
... ve given this a 4star rating as i have an acceptable result, but the setup will be tricky if you rush it. A previous reviewer is also right: It s essential to first download the manual (from the uk part of Belkin site), and print it out. You will need to! It will be handy for any family in the end. Just bear in mind that this device has to read your Lan settings as well as access the Web. I ve not managed to get m... Read the full review: A result at last.... by mcader |

Apple Airport Express Base Station with 802.11n and AirTunes ... Apple AirPort Express is an interesting bit of kit. It s a wireless device that you can use in one of three ways [or, in fact, in all three ways]. It can create a wireless network to allow your desktop, laptop, wii, PSP etc to talk to each other. It doesn t have a built in modem, so won t connect directly to the internet, but it does have an ethernet port and so could be used with a modem to connect the network to the internet. However, I think the interesting things come when you use it as a receiver. It has a USB port, into which you could plug a USB printer. This then makes you printer usable from any machine in the house, without having to have a dedicated netwo... Read the full review: Music whererver you want it by Pharmtastic |

Apple Airport Base Station ... Is It? The Apple Airport Base Station (802.11n) is one of the wireless internet devices by Apple. There has been an upgrade of this base station however with the Exteme Base Station which was out last year. Why Buy It? I bought it mainly for the computer, I had never used a wireless router before but had heard they were very good and efficient. But another big reason we bought it was because we have an iPhone and iPod touch, so it would allow us access to the internet on it. Other reasons to buy it would be if you have a laptop/s then they can be connected to the internet wirelessly (as long as they meet system requirements, see below.) Also if you need internet to... Apple Airport Extreme Base Station ... over function springs to mind with some products. When Apple launched their iMac (the original colourful bubbles) they reshaped (excuse the pun), the future of technology. Their Airport Extreme Base Station followed this design mould, with curvy lines, basically resembling what one would expect a ship from outer space to look like. What the base station offers is a wireless access point, so that you can connect your Apple Macintosh to other devices and/or the internet. You connect the base station to the internet (via the internal modem) and in turn, any Mac devices that you have with Aiport (wireless) cards installed can then access the World Wide Web. You could... Read the full review: Not for the moden day by davomrmac |
