The AT-WCL460 enables a variety of Mobile LAN resources such as access to e-mail, the Internet, and library databases. It enables peer-to-peer communications between portables in a wireless LAN. In public spaces, the technology will let users access the Internet remotely using their home or office ISP accounts. Without the burden of cabling, you will enjoy unprecedented freedom to move about the home, office, classroom, or public space. The AT-WCL460 offers standards based compatibility by complying with IEEE 802.11b 11Mbps and 5.5Mbps standard and IEEE 802.11 Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) 1Mbps and 2Mbps standard. By conforming to the IEEE 802.11b standard, it ensures interoperability with equipment from many vendors. |
