Axis 9010

Axis 9010 ... allows several mobile users to connect to it simultaneously and without delay when they are within range of the access point. Several AXIS 9010s may be used to provide wider coverage. Bluetooth operates at radio frequencies that are plentiful and unlicensed. The AXIS 9010 provides Class 1 Bluetooth wireless connectivity to Ethernet/Fast Ethernet and systems running TCP/IP for high-speed, local network and Internet communications without the cost of going through a cellular carrier.

The AXIS 9010 supports all Bluetooth devices compatible with the Bluetooth LAN Access Profile: e.g. handheld PDAs, laptop computers, Web pads and emerging application-specific devices. Secure system with easy installation and management: the AXIS 9010 runs on embedded Linux operating system, with flash memory for easy software upgrades, and built-in Web server and Web interface for quick installation, and remote configuration and management. The AXIS 9010 enables access to local information services, e-mail, file transfer, Web browsing and synchronization. The AXIS 9010 uses the RADIUS protocol for authentication, authorization and accounting options.
