      definately worth getting, very useful

I bought my one of these brilliant little devices a few years ago to make it easier for me to send photos videos and music between my pc and my phone. I don't know how I lived without it as its a fantastic piece of kit. Depending on the phone you have you can even use it to control your pc remotely which is always amusing when somebody else is using it and you make it look like the pc is haunted :). I would highly recommend a device like this for sending data about as it makes bluetoothing new music to my phone a breeze. When you need to free up some space on your phone with things like high definition videos clogging up your memory its great. Even if you need to leave it on over night for gigabyte's of sata to transfer it gets the job done 10 out of 10!

Great for sending stuff from PC to phone

This little black stick has been great for the few months we've had it, and has come so in useful it almost feels like we robbed it at a price of £15!

My boyfriend is one for downloading music off the internet, building up a huge library on itunes, getting an iPod and then only using his phone for music but moaning all his favourites are on the iPod. Also known as annoying! So we bought this Bluetooth Adaptor from Staples for £15 so he could Bluetooth songs from the PC onto his phone.

It came in one of those awkward plastic packages, the one where you need scissors just to get into it. After wrestling with it for a good ten minutes we got it out and found the manual, squashed up in the back. The basic instructions were 'plug into PC, watch in amazement' - you don't even have to follow an Installation Wizard to install the drivers and programs, it does it for you!

Now, everything was installed and ready to use, so all that was left to do was try and Bluetooth something. It states in the manual that you have to right click the item, select 'send via Bluetooth', select device and 'send' - really?? So we gave it a go, selected a song, right-clicked to send via Bluetooth, picked up my boyfriend's and sent it. He had received it seconds later.

This I think is an amazing little thing, I'm amazed at technology anyway but this is just cool. I found it great when I first Bluetoothed a picture to someone else's phone, but now I've found out you can Bluetooth almost anything to someone's phone with one of these - as long as they have the space to hold it of course!

Obviously this only works with Bluetoothed devices, so don't be trying to Bluetooth a wallpaper to your laptop, it isn't going to pick it up! It may with another Bluetooth device in the laptop but I haven't tried this yet. It also only works with devices within 50 metres of it, and I don't think it works through walls but we also haven't tried that one yet either! We've only picked up ourselves but we can't assume that next door's is always off!

The flashing blue light shows that your file is being transferred, so you always know if there's a problem because that's off. We haven't had that problem at all and it has been used quite a bit, but by the looks of it it's a very sturdy piece of technology and doesn't break down easily. It's definitely something I'm glad we bought as it's made things easier to transfer to and from our phones because we didn't get a USB cable with them, so this works better and we don't even have to be sat at the PC to receive it, we can sit on the other side of the room!

Something useful if you don't want to be trailing USB cables around when sending files to your phone from your PC, and if you want more flexibility in the way you do it.
