Advantages: Simple, well made, plug and play. Good brand behind it too.

Disadvantages: Signal strength not as good as more expensive models.

At £13, what could go wrong. This dongle does exactly what it says on the tin. Mine worked plug-and-play, but it was supplied with a disk with install files.

I have only ever used it with a belkin wireless-G router, and it picks up the signal very well. It is not as strong as some more expensive dongles for receiving signal, but if you are just trying to get through a few walls without cables, then this is all you could need.

It comes with a USB extension lead, so it can be positioned anywhere for the strongest signal. It also has an activity indicator light, which is extremely useful is anything does go wrong, which is rare.

Sometimes on heavy downloads and torrenting it does cut out, but im not sure whether this is the router or the dongle. They are both from the Wireless-G brand, and so i would say to avoid these if you plan on using your computer for prolonged heavy downloads, or for lots of computers on the same network, as it does not handle large amounts of network traffic well.

I would recommend this product, as it offers great value for money, and does exactly what you would expect. For a value level wireless system, you wont go far wrong with this.
