This was the same story for Linux in which i have used the adapter seamlessly.

The BT Voyager 1055 USB adapter was given to me free of charge with another BT product. After many problems with other adapters i gave this one a try and was thoroughly impressed. BTs software is available to control the device if you use an older operating system however installing only the drivers provided on the disk and using WZC to connect to your network in Windows XP is the easiest way.
