Advantages: Loads of features, easy to configure, great security, great compatibility with ISPs

Disadvantages: There is alimit to port forwarding.

I've just received this router from my ISP for free and I have to say, I've seen a small improvement to my home network. This replaced my Netgear DG834G (Which is also a good router) but the D-Link has this nice touch to my network, before I got the D-Link my NAT would cause internet problems for me when I tried to play on Xbox Live which was really annoying but this D-Link, it's fixed the whole problem for me. It has so much security features to keep your home network secure and offers 24Mbp downstream within your network(Don't get confused and think it gives you 24Mbp internet cause that's not true - it's basically 24Mbp withing your home network ONLY(ie. from your computer to another computer in your house) as well as 1Mbp upstream too)

The setup is extremely easy, as well as configuring it from your browser and adjusting it to how it will benefit you the most. I'm not a major D-Link person, Netgear has always been my thing but since I got this D-Link I believe maybe there's some hope for the router I now have. It also according to D-Links website that it works with the majority of ISPs, which is a major plus for anyone who is unsure if they have to get a specific router.

Summary: A really good router for any home user.
