I bought one of these for a friend/customer of mine, to make his life easier printing from his new wireless laptop. He has a standard wireless router that works just fine. He has an HP printer that has worked just fine for ages via USB cable with his desktop PC, but with the addition of his new laptop to his house, a wireless solution that could be shared by the desktop PC and the new laptop was an obvious choice. I even phoned HP to check that the HP printer and the HP wireless print server would work together with Windows XP Pro. They said it would be fine.
