Although this adaptor is now particularly outdated and thus, is not available in shops anymore: it is a reminder that old technology can still work.
The adaptor is quite small - measuring about the same as a pack of cigarettes - it can easily be tucked away or left out without attracting attention to itself.
Setup of the device is relatively easy. All you do it plug it into a computer and use the software to configure which network to join. The next time you plug it in, no matter what device you plug it into, it will search and join the configured network. Usefully, it has several channels which can be configured for different networks. This means you can pre-configure different networks and select the network available at the time.
The device is very sturdy and has survived several: squishes, drops and knocks.
The device is not only for games consoles, but for anything with an ethernet socket. Note that on a PC the age of the device will show through while downloading large files.
