Ive had mine now for approx 2 years.
I`m with Aol and have been ever since I got the internet. In the bad old days of 54k connections running through the computers inbuilt modems it was a nightmare. I had so many problems and, dealing with Aol`s notoriously bad customer service only made my experience worse. It was only when I rang Aol requesting my mac code as I was going to change provider, that they made me a good deal and offered this modem for free.

I took them up on there offer and as soon as it arrived and was set up I have never had a problem since. Out the box supplied was all necessary instructionscables, filters and an installation disc. It was so easy to set up. At the time we didnt have any wireless tech so that wasnt really an issue.
Now we have 2 xbox`s a ps3 and wireless laptop aswell as our desktop pc and while there is a noticeable slowdown when all are running, it will handle 2 or 3 quite comfortably.

Online wep security is easy. Underneath the router is your router access address and from there you can rename it, set up password security and this makes it easy to locate and set up your wireless gagdets safely and securely.

Brand new it`s still retailing for around £50 but you can pick up a secondhand one in good condition for about £15 (ebay or amazon) and if you want a simple to install, reliable router you cant fault it.
