Advantages: fast, easy to set up, good signal strength

Disadvantages: bit more expensive than others

This was my first wireless router and i have to say i found it all a bit confusing with all the different types of router out there ones with modems ones without, adsl, cable etc etc.

This router is for people who get their internet access through their phoneline and not from telewest or ntl.

It has a built in modem and comes with a usb wireless adaptor so it has everything you need.

Setting the router up was so suprisingly simple after all of the confusion of trying to find the right type. You plug phone cable from your phone line into the back of the router and then the power cable and thats it.

My laptop already had a built in wireless card so i didn't need to touch that, it dected my router right away and i just followed the simple step my step instructions to set it up.

I use the usb wireless adaptor that came with the router on my desktop pc as it didn't have a wireless card. That was equally as simple i just plugged it into a free usb port it dected the router and that was it.

The signal strength is really good and speed when transfering files between computers is fast as well.

My final concern with setting up a wireless network was security, but following the simple instructions on the router a secure network with password verification was easy to set up.

This is more expensive than some other routers but its faster the signal strength is good and it has everything you need right out of the box.

Summary: very user friendly and easy to set up
