I brought another one of these, and you make pick up by the tone of my voice that I'm slightly irritated. I say "another" as I did but one two days ago, the thing refused to work with no matter what internet options I tried to feed it. The Netgear DGN2000 is an Wireless N (draft) compatible wireless and ethernet router. It is also an ASDL modem, even compatible with ASDL 2+, supporting speeds up 24mbs (and possibly greater) so you shouldnt need to buy a new modem if you upgrade your connection. I admit my computer knowledge is limited but I was led to believe this was an easy product to install on my home computer. I thought the step by step instructions seemed easy to follow but when steps didn't go to plan I became stuck and confused. Next steps I phoned the customer helpline and was greeted with questions I didn't know the answer to and probally wouldn't have unless I had a degree in computing.
