I thinki need a computing degree (Netgear DGN2000)

Advantages: good when finally installed

Disadvantages: hard to install

I admit my computer knowledge is limited but I was led to believe this was an easy product to install on my home computer. I thought the step by step instructions seemed easy to follow but when steps didn't go to plan I became stuck and confused.
Next steps I phoned the customer helpline and was greeted with questions I didn't know the answer to and probally wouldn't have unless I had a degree in computing.
All I can say is what a waste of my time trying to set this router up.

I resulted in asking a good friend that works within the computer industry to come and help install the router. They said this wasn't an uncommon problem but does need improvement for everyday people to use. Now it is finally installed properly I have a working home network and haven't come across too many problems.

perhaps good things come to those that are patient enough.

Summary: would recommend to those that have some computer know how.
