Advantages: Small and compact does what it says on the box

Disadvantages: Not for multi person use

I hope you find this review useful because I was so confused when it came to me buying a router for my room at uni!

Mine is the WGR614 version not the L open source version (though im not sure what the difference is!)

Mine has all the technical information as stated including the 4 port USB.

I bought this for £29.99 from currys it was also this price in PC world but they had none when I went to get one. I bought this as my tech savvy flatmate had and recommended it as a good buy.

Setup:
I found it very easy to set up. It come with a disk that you pop into your computer and it guides you through the process and shows you with diagrams if your unsure. Everything on the product is numbered which also helps. It took me about 10/20 mins to set up and get everything working, bonus!

The product itself:
It's very small and compact and sits neatly in the corner of my desk without taking up huge amounts of room! It also I think quite pretty as its white and not intrusive.

Wireless signal/useage:
It has a great signal in my uni room and all the way to the lounge (which is down the hall though not down any stairs!) it has dropped signal a few times but this is hardly noticeable and picks itself back up very quickly, so I wouldnt say this is a problem.
I dont think it would be ideal for more than a few rooms and more than one computer using it at a time, though you could if you desired but I dont think you would get enough speed out of it.

Pros:
*Great for uni and one to two rooms worth of use.
*Cheap and a good price for a good looking product

Cons:
* Not for family or multi person use
* Can sometimes drop signal

I hope this review helps. Ive try to given a non-tech view of the product to make it accessible to everyone :)

xx
