Netgear Rangemax Next ADSL2+ Modem Wireless Router DG834N ... started off with a basic Belkin router which I had for a few years but suddenly after a few years it just stopped working. I tried for many hours to reserrect it but failed miserably. Then i looked around for new routers and found the Belkin N1 router which promised so many great features such as 300mbps but after having it for a day i realised it had a poor signal and wouldn t even reach my room from the room with the router in. I managed to get it working but only after fiddling with it for hours and moving it, and still I was recieving much worse connection than i was with my previous router. This is for hard-wired modems not for wireless systems, although it might give you some helpful information. The Modem is the Netgear DG834GT supplied by SKY and is wireless, wired so if you have a laptop and a desktop in the house then you can all use this as well. I prefer to use the hard wired system as it s faster and more secure than wireless and as my computer is a desktop it s no problem.
