With the upcoming IEEE 802.11n technology, the NWD-170N can eliminate dead zones and extend coverage up to 4 times, while retaining the backward-compatibility with all 802.11b/g devices.

In addition to the basic 64/128/152-bit WEP encryption, new wireless security mechanisms such as 802.1x authentication and Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK) are employed by NWD-170N to enhance network protection. These refined security measures allow only authorized users to access the network in order to protect data from being tapped during wireless transmissions.

The auto setup wizard helps you install and setup wireless connections without hassle. The intuitive user interface guides you through the configuration process with the language of choice, or automatically switches to the language corresponding to the Windows regional setting.
