Unreal Tournament 3 (Xbox 360) ... loved the very first Unreal Tournament, I had it on both PC and Dreamcast, I wasnt into online gaming back in those days but it was good enough to engross me in the regular campaign and to just mess around with bots. Since those good old days the more recent Unreal Tournament games have been a bit of a let down in my opinion: For example, Unreal Tournament 2003 was a waste of time, in my opinion the guns got worse, and the game wasnt as simple and quick as it used to be. Things livened up when Unreal Tournament 2004 was released, with the addition of vehicles, this game provided a good romp but wasnt as adrenaline pumped and pure havoc as the original title. Fusion Frenzy 2 (Xbox 360) ... the Xbox 360 is very much a "serious" console, I was surprised by how light-hearted and playful this title- which is really a glorified collection of mini-games- happened to be. The games themselves range from mini shooting type games, to rocket racing, to reflex-testing... a wide range to appeal to all sorts of gamers, so a great mix for multi-player. The downside is that the main character- the narrator, or spokesperson who referees these competitive mini-game matches set in space, is VERY annoying, and you ll be rushing to skip his long-winded speeches with your start button! Halo 3 (Xbox 360) ... is not going to be a popular opinion, but I ve never been a fan of the Halo series- it always struck me as over-rated for the kind of basic first person shooter it was, and it also attracts an overwhelming legion of annoying fanboys! Having said all that, I got dragged along to the midnight release of Halo 3 anyway, and was willing to be open minded about it, but was crushingly disappinted. And although my halo geeky fan friends tried to disguise it, they were disappointed too.
