Advantages: Visually the best looking game ive played this year

Disadvantages: Entertainment only really lasts 5/6 hours

After one rather eventful year in the gaming world, it is coming to the end with a number of highly anticipated games, Assassins Creed being one. However it is not all its cracked up to be. First of all, the graphics are outstanding. It has to be one of the most impressive looking games i've played to date. The controls work well after getting some use to, and it can provide a rather pleasing experience. However this game is by far one of the worst games i've bought this year. It starts off well, promising far more then it gives. For the first few hours you are left in a state of awe, amazed at the quality of game play given, however a few hours is all you'll recieve before the realisiation come along. The action is repetitive and the different side missions to accomplish become so similar that you forget to care what they are each saying, doing or showing as it will eventually become pointless to the matter at hand. All in all it is a visually impressive game, with a strong premise, however it will leave you feeling empty and let down. I would recomend it as a rental, or bought maybe from ebay. Not worth the full price.
