Fun - Really really repetative (Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360))

Advantages: Stunning graphics, great freedom.

Disadvantages: Game-breaking counter on fight scenes. Press B to win.

This game had alot of hype, the preview videos were stunning and looked like no other game before it. The first section of assassins creed is great, nearly everything is climbable, the fights are fun and regular, and the character is interesting.

The missions are originally great fun, but soon start to sour. The gameplay is fun but repetitive, and some of the missions are more of a pain than actually enjoyable. (one particular mission was to run and get flags in a short time, which took many tries and seemed to not relate to the main mission at all)

I wont spoil any story, but there is a certain aspect of the game which is extremely annoying. Just when you get the most involved in the gameplay, it pulls you out for some dialogue (un-skippalbe) in a completely different and seemingly unrelated setting.

This game had brilliant potential, it is fun, but could have been so much more. The story seems forced and the outcome is predictable from cut-scene 1.

Summary: Assassins creed 2 should have fixed these problems, go with that instead.
