      Very helpful

The weakest Lego game in a while.

Bionicle Heroes is a Lego action game for the Xbox 360 console developed by Travellers Tales.

The story of Bionicle heroes was very unintelligible for me, you start off on an island gain the power of some elemental masks and the game begins. It is meant to tie in the the Bionicle stories but as I am unfamiliar with those I don't know how faithful this is. You do get a couple of amusing cutscenes here and there with enemy Piraka robots performing silly actions which keep the mood quite light throughout.

The gameplay here could have been quite interesting but it has been dumbed down so much it becomes a repetitive slog through each of the games levels.

You control several Piraka (robots) each represented by a different mask with you earning more masks as you progress. Each different mask has different weapons and special abilities and you will have to make use of each to solve the games puzzles and get through the levels. You will also need to collect lego blocks which you can use later on to purchase upgrades.

The gunplay manages to be unexciting as the game sends waves of dim witted enemies at you, simply hold down the fire button and watch them explode. It is also ridiculously easy as each Piraka mask you have has its own life bar so you can usually have 5 lives at once. The puzzles usually revolve around crossing a certain terrain that only one of your Pirakas will be able to traverse, this gets old real quick.

Graphics are this games weakest point, this game looks like a Playstation 2 title slightly prettied up. Everything looks blurry and indistinct some of the weakest on the platform.

This game is a very basic shooter, maybe good as a first shooter for someone. You probably should stick to Lego titles such as Lego Star Wars.
