Bioshock is set in the dystopian city of Rapture, a city free from law, morals and any constraints. This city took the best of every nation, and prospered in every field. Ther was only 1 rule, there was to be no contact with the outside world.

The story of bioshock is the strongest of any game i have ever played, and provides a real drive to find out more. The gameplay itself is standard FPS stuff, with the addition of plasmids, which are sort of magic powers such as electro-bolt and flame.

The bad guys in this game make it. Splicers are humans, driven insane by the overuse of plasmids, and they are the main enemy. Also walking the halls are Big Daddies, huge boss characters who are only aggressive to you if you provoke them.

This game boasts a brilliant atmosphere to the play, and truly enthrals the player. Highly recommeneded.
