Advantages: great graphics and gameplay

Disadvantages: differnt format from the old games

Having played all previous burnout games i can saftly say this is the best one yet. With some quite dramatic changes to the franchise burnout re-invents itself for the current generation of consoles. instead of choosing what races and challenges you wish to play for a menu, the world is now am open city called "Paradise city". though no pedestrians in the city, there are cars and vans to avoid while driving around at insane speeds. instead of menus to choose your race or event you now stop at traffic lights and the event will begin, only problem with this system seems to be if you fail you cant restart the race, you must return again to the traffic lights, sometimes taking quite a while. once you get used to the system though it works very well. It will take about 40 hours to complete the single player, with endless amount of fun to be had online doing challenges and races. The graphics are awesome and the crashes look the best they ever have, both online and off.
This game is great for new players to the franchise and vetrans and will provide hours of fun for everyone.

graphics 9/10 - great looking game
gameplay 9/10 - great layout and relativly small learning curve
sound 8/10 - some quailty tracks to cruise round paradise city to
lastability 10/10 - loads to do, with updates promised to add even more gameplay throughout the year

Summary: quailty first burnout title for the new generation of consoles
