Awesome game if given a chance (Burnout Paradise (Xbox 360))

Advantages: Graphics, crashes, racing, stunts

Disadvantages: Slow starter

Let's start at the beginning, this game is hard to get into. I had it sitting for months before I decided to give it time and I know I'm not the only one. The city is daunting and there doesn't seem to be the crash potential that previous games in the burnout series had HOWEVER after 160 hours of playing this game inside and out I can confirm that this is one of the most enjoyable car games ever made.

There is so much to do what with collecting cars, doing stunts, taking out opponents and then we get onto the stupendous freeburn online. There are endless possibilities for playing this game online - 490 challenges, stunt contests, marked man or just driving about while the hours fly by.

This game was mssive when it first came out but Criterion have since released the free bike pack containing bikes, new challenges and races!! Free!!! There is more to come in 2009 as they are to release a new car pack, party mode and a whole new island - unfortunately it looks like these are charged for downloads but I reckon they'll be well worth it.

Summary: Can be daunting when starting out but is rewarding in the long run
