Burnout paradise is a graphically stunning game, there are 2 main types of this game the original which was released on the 5th of January 2008 and the ultimate box which was released on the 5th of February 2009. I got my burnout paradise city the ultimate box in February which cost me £29.99, because it wasn't much dearer than the original copy which was priced at £19.99.

Burnout paradise is a free roam racing game online and offline. The company that makes it is criterion games.

There are downloadable content that you get with the ultimate box which is on the disk the downloadable content you get is the party pack which allows you to play offline with your friends using the same controller, the bike packs which means you can use bikes in the city and the codename pack which allows you to get extra cars online and offline to u e thought the city.

As you win races in the city you go up licences for winning a race, to get licence d you must win 2 races, to get licence c you must win 7 races, to get licence b you must win 16 races, to get licence a you must win 26 races, to get licence burnout you must win 45 races and to get licence elite 110 you must win 2 races. For every licence you upgrade you get a car and an achievement.

There are different types of races there is a stunt race when you have to get to a target score by doing stunts as you do special stuff you get a multiplier, a road rage which is when you have to take out cars with your car and you get a target set and once you achieve it you can stop the race, a marked man is when you have to get to the finish line without getting taken out by the other cars that are pursuing you sand a normal race which is when you have to get to the end and win and to, start a race you have to hold Lt and Rt together.

As you get further into the game you get better cars, there are different types of cars a stunt, speed and an aggression which are all types of the boost the cars have, a stunt cars boost can be used at any time, a speed cars bar has to be full before you can use any of the boost and an aggression boost can be used at any time as well.

Burnout has online which you can do challenges with your friends or just free roam about and try and take them out if your friend has a Xbox live vision camera plugged in you can get a picture sent to you when you take them out.

I personally think the achievements are easy to get as they can all be done as you play through the city, there is a total of 1000 gamer score to get out this game if you don't the party pack, if you have the party pack you can get another 2 achievements which add up to a total of 50 gamer score

I would recommend this game to anyone who loves free roam racing games, I would rate this game 5 stars out of 5 because it is a simply amazing game.
