Most people know Call of Duty for it's story line following World War 1 and World War 2. When Activision announced they were going to pair with Infinity Ward again to produce the latest game in the series their was some controversy as to how good the game would be.

I first purchased my XBOX 360 and Call of Duty 4 around a year ago and I have not stopped playing the game to date. I can safely say this is the best game I have ever owned. I have tried to move away from the game by playing other games on the XBOX but this one is simply too addictive due to it's magnificent game play, graphics and realism.

The game play is one of the main features that makes the game so good, by using button layouts that blend amazingly with the game (right trigger to shoot, left trigger to aim, etc.) it brings you closer to the game action.

The campaign mode has an amazing story line that will keep you stuck to your console for days upon days, wanting to see the story through to the end. The interactivity with the environment makes the game extremely special.

Online game play is why this game got game of the year upon it's year of release and was one of the highest selling games EVER created on all platforms. The game rarely has bad connection and connection between players is almost instant meaning the game is fractionally slower than real time. The range of maps (small to big, urban to open grassy areas) shows you just how much work has gone into the making of the game.

In my opinion the release of Modern Warfare made by Infinity Ward has outdone the Treyarch's Call of Duty 5 despite being released before.

If you are thinking of getting this game I would stop thinking now as I am 99% certain this game is for you. Hurry up and get your copy and get into the story line as the release of Modern Warfare 2 is soon to be released.
