Condemmed is a game that came out a few years ago based on a serial killer going around murdering numerous people, the storyline follows on after being framed for the killing of 2 fellow policemen, following the story trying to trace the actual killers footsteps through the city.
The game involves the user using forensics technology trying to trace the killers steps, having not finished it yet I am unsure where the story goes but the game itself is very clever and very tense, you are put in numerous situations with a torch and not alot else, having to find (albeit a very limited number) a weapon to fight off drug crazed 'humans' during your chase of the killer.
The only issue I have with this game is the limited number of weapons and the fact you need certain weapons to open certain places, it can be a very infuriating game although killing the druggies can be pretty fun with the taser and a weapon of your choice.
The game is supposed to be scary and it certainly can be very tense and very scary at certain points, the game would get a bit tiring if you were constantly playing in the dark with a torch but it's not always like that, there is alot of the game played in the open with exterior lights lighting up the room.
Overall, the storyline seems to be quite good, the gameplay is very good although with opening doors and same weapons can get fairly tiresome (although you can find enemies with guns which makes it better).
Anyway, i'm off to play some more and see where this game takes me...
