Crackdown 2 (Xbox 360)

Advantages: Levelling up ability, brilliant online mode

Disadvantages: none

While Crackdown 2 is certainly not a game I would usually buy, it was definately wirth the purchase and I feel it is a game that is accessible to most gamers, no matter what your level of interest in gaming is.

Firstly a quick outline of the plot is that you are an elite 'agent' with superhuman power who must protect the city from the ruthless gang called cell and the zombie like 'freaks'

There is a loose story which involves taking over cell strongholds and activating laser beams to destroy freaks, but essentially the city is yours to do with as you wish as you jump from building to building and throw cars at unsuspectin members of the public.

the most addictive part of the game is the ability to level up your powers and eventually give you the ability to leap entire buildings, pick up huge trucks and gain access to a catalogue of different weapons and vehicles.

The online play is also addictive and although competitive death matches are a long way off the likes of COD and halo, the free mode online where upto 4 players can join and play together across the whole map is just fantastic but often descends into launching helicopters and firing rockets at one another.

After 2 months of seemingly solid play I've finally started to get slightly bored but my attetnion span usually lasts mere days on most games.

Summary: For anyone who loves the GTA style mucking about, this is perfect.
